There's nothing wrong with changing your mind about a threat as conditions change. ISIL no doubt was the Jayvee last year and no doubt is stronger today. The question is does the Prez have a good worldview such that when conditions change he is prepared to acr rationally. And i think not. It seems to be driven by the graphic head hacking of two glory seeking young Americans combined with Dems understandable terror of the coming electoral shock and aww shit that they are scheduled for.
Which means that our President continues to be an unpredictable variable in the geopolitical equation. And when the most important, powerful variable is swinging wildly and unpredictably because he doesn't know what the hell he thinks until someone or some poll tells him then the world is in for a helluva ride.
