The therapeutic state doesn't replace God it radicalizes Him. Meaning is no longer found in the day to day struggle to earn a living so young redundant men search farther afield for purpose. And for Muslims already offended by the slatternly slide in British culture the cleansing breath of hard, cruel Islam seems like what the doctor ordered.
Regardless, it looks like few will fight for the deracinated kumbaya state. A fact that should terrify progressives everywhere. Progressivism strips people's lives of purpose of meaning of their humanity. It's not surprising that the most alienated will do almost anything to get it back.
