Just when I thought I had everything figured out...this happens

We're all yelling 'inflation' and we lapse back near deflation.  Accelerating and spreading technological innovation remains the wild card for the price level and thus the value of money.  The spreading ubiquity Genetic, IT and Nano technologies are having growing impacts on the structure of whole industries and trade.  Take the energy market:  new IT and Nanotech tools are driving an explosion in oil and gas production in 'tapped out' North America to the point that we will likely be net exporters of hydrocarbons in a few short years.

God has made a fascinating world (and a fascinating Man) hasn't he?
