From Samizdata.  In England they are doing at least one thing right.  Here in the US, real government wages almost always outstrip private wages except at the highest earner levels.  And per unit of true value?  Well, you can't calculate the positive value of a negative value now can you?  Here's to the US redressing the compensation injustice that is the 'modern' 'civil' 'service'.
